ABOUT ME

Carmen Rocha is Australian an award-winning art director, designer and illustrator of children’s books. Carmen also provides design strategy, art direction, digital communications, design and illustration to a wide variety of clients in the children's design and publishing and established brands including News Corp, Hallmark Cards, Melbourne Arts Centre, Clementine Sun, L’Oreal, Heinz Wattie's Melbourne Fashion Festival, Melbourne Opera, The Australian Psychological Society and The Mary Potter Foundation.

 

Carmen’s illustrations always incorporates a strong sense of bold colour palettes and is playful and graphic, yet whimsical in nature. Her list of illustration projects includes for children’s book publishing, clothing, magazines, stationary, greeting cards, invitations and wall prints. Carmen also applies her illustrations to products for children's room decor which she sells in her online shop Pumpy Boy.
